DNA maker of Ipomoea nil

 
 

We are developing genetic linkage maps of Japanese morning glory using DNA markers, such as SNP markers and SSR markers. These maps will be utilized for finding quantitative trait loci (QTL) of flowering time, flower size, flower numbers and interspecific crossability.

 

Tokyo kokei standard: I. nil

Q65: I. hederacea

EST-SSR markers derived from Ipomoea nil cv. Tokyo Kokei Standard.

PCR products were separated by 10% acrylamide gel electrophoresis in 1X TBE buffer (150 V  90 min). In gel images, the left lane and the right lane of each marker show amplicon from "Q65" (I. hederacea) and "Tokyo-Kokei Standard (TKS)" (I. nil), respectively.
